If there is one drink that unites the whole world, apart from water, it is coffee. It is drunk everywhere, regardless of continent, weather or religion.

In the Eastern and Muslim world there is Turkish coffee, in the Anglo-Saxon world the so-called American coffee to be drunk in large cups, in Italy espresso and cappuccino.

For the cold of winter, one can choose coffee laced with a little liqueur. To combat the heat of summer, you can try shaken coffee.

And at Expo, this global aspect stands out.

Ten countries from three continents are housed in the coffee themed pavilion: Africa; America and Asia.

But there are also many other countries that have their own space at Expo, such as Brazil, Colombia and even Turkey.

Precisely during Expo, on 30 September and 1 October, the first Coffee Global Forum will take place, a meeting in which some 40 countries will participate.

Italy - which does not grow coffee but processes it - will take the lion's share. But the virtues of coffee are also pleasure, health and sustainability.Extract Article 19.04.2015 'Lombardia Oggi'
